Axillary: Working on feedback for our Digi-pack

From looking at our feedback we decided to add more manipulated/edited images to link with our music video. This included adding overlays to many pages. This was done by placing an image over another image and then adjusting the opacity. I like the effect this gives as it adds another dimension to the image instead of it being simply one picture.

From our music video feedback we found that the audience enjoyed the mirrored palm tree shot. Therefore to attract our target audience we added this image to a page in our digi pack. The framing of the image and text gives a very professional and conceptual feel, while creating synergy between our music video and axillary task.

Production: Editing post feedback

After receiving our feedback of our first draft it was clear that we needed to add a few more editing effects to make it more conceptual. We added a blurred TV effect to give it a retro look. This fits with the indie rock genre as they tend to 'age' their videos to make them look more edgy. This adds something different to the film instead of using simple transitions such as cuts and fades. By adding variety to the music video it will help to attract the audience as it is something different.

Axillary: Social Media sites

To make our website more personal we have created social media accounts for the band. This will allow fans to keep up to date with them and events. As our target audience are heavy users of social media, we felt that this would be a perfect way for them to communicate with Fuse.
